Dani Delaloye, P.Eng., M.A.Sc.  

Principal Engineer, Mott MacDonald

Dani is recognized as an effective communicator, technical leader, and strategic thinker who brings a high level of commitment and positive energy to her work and volunteer efforts. Early in her studies, Dani developed a passion for underground excavations, which led her to relocate to BC after completing her Master’s in geological engineering.

At work and in the community, Dani is a committed volunteer, contributing to advancement of emerging professionals, equity, diversity & inclusion initiatives, and raising the profile of her profession with the next generation of engineers. At ACEC-BC, Dani served with the Young Professionals Group, acting as Chair, and contributing on the ACEC-BC Board as we reimagined our Association strategy. In 2021, she re-established the Resources & Energy Committee, taking the role of Chair and working with members to build purpose and engagement with other industry Associations and sector leaders.

Dani’s on-site experience spans the world, with multiple projects across Europe, the United States, and Canada. Her ability to learn quickly, lead assignments, and her keen eye for detail allowed her to take on increasingly complex projects, and to be recognized by clients as a dedicated, creative, and technical leader.
