Meet the 2021 Young Professional Award Winner
Siobhan is a Project Engineer with Kerr Wood Leidal. An active volunteer, Siobhan commits significant time to sector and professional associations as well as inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers through Science World’s Scientists and Innovators in the Schools Program. In 2015, Siobhan was recognized by the Women’s Executive Network’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women in their Future Leaders category.
She has been a highly engaged member of ACEC-BC for more than 10-years, serving in a variety of capacities including Chair for the Provincial Young Professionals Group, Ex Officio Director on the ACEC-BC Board, and as ACEC-BC’s representative to ACEC Canada’s Young Professionals Network.
At the national level, Siobhan was elected Chair, Young Professionals Network and in that capacity served on the ACEC Canada Board of Directors. She was a featured panelist at the 2018 National Leadership Conference and remains active on the Young Professionals Network as a Past Chair.
Siobhan’s leadership and technical expertise are highly valued by her firm, as evidenced by her engagement with the firms’ Financial Management Committee and rapid advancement in her technical role.
